On inspiration

I find inspiration in many forms, whether through exploring the world around me, connecting with diverse communities, or immersing myself in design bookstores in Germany.

No matter where I am, I carefully observe and analyze my surroundings, always seeking to learn from the people and places I encounter. Some might call me astute, but I believe that we all stand to gain by deepening our understanding of how the world operates.

A little more
about me

I played a key role in the conceptualization and design of new pages for different companies. Collaborating closely with the team to create user-focused experiences that effectively communicated the client's value. I also worked on updating existing pages to reflect new features, messaging, and design trends, ensuring optimal user engagement.

I helped maintain and expand the Figma library, curating reusable components to support consistency and efficiency across the platform. Working closely with engineers and product marketing managers, I ensured that designs aligned with business goals and translated smoothly into web experiences. Additionally, I participated in quality assurance, reviewing designs and functionality in staging to ensure a polished final product.

Developing the voice for developers
and their data.

Introduction

At fiveonefour, I help shape the brand voice and digital experience for a platform built for developers. My work spans brand design, product design, marketing, fundraising, and community — crafting a system that feels as considered as the engineering underneath.

Timeframe 2024 — 2026
Role UX & Brand Designer

The challenge

Design a brand and digital experience that speaks directly to developers, precise, technical, and credible while feeling human, tech, and approachable. The product sits at a tough crossroads: infrastructure-grade reliability with the emotional appeal needed to pull people in.

What I did

  • Designed tracks from exploration all the way through dev hand-off, working in Cursor and Sanity.
  • Designed prototypes and used AI-generated ideation (primarily Figma, V0 and Claude Code) to move fast without sacrificing quality.
  • Partnered with product, engineering, and sales on campaigns across LinkedIn, X, Reddit, and HackerNews. Collaborated with other brands like ClickHouse to launch joined blog posts.
  • Built sales decks and assets including the fundraising deck that helped close $14M.
  • Create off brand DEC Bench to support agentic research work.
  • And yes, made the off-sites unforgettable and kept Slack full of the best gifs.

The outcome

A cohesive brand system that works across product, marketing, and sales. The site and brand now scale with the team, and design standards are consistent from first touch to in-product experience.

Global Digital Experience

The challenge

Freshworks is a dynamic and innovative tech company providing intuitive, customer-focused software solutions that help businesses of all sizes streamline their operations.

For two years, I was a part of their Web Team, contributing to the continuous evolution of their brand and digital presence. Following a full rebrand, our team worked on next-gen pages, leveraging a component library and creating new components within Contentful's limitations. I collaborated closely with UX team, Strategy & SEO teams, Copywriters, and Publishers to ensure that the visuals were consistently aligned with our brand and core values.

What I did

  • Created visual assets across all Next Gen pages, press kits, blog posts, and videos.
  • Authored and maintained design documentation to improve collaboration across front-end dev, publishing, marketing, and copy teams.
  • Simplified product screens for use on website pages, campaigns, and videos.
  • Developed and optimized visual assets for A/B testing to lift engagement and conversion.
  • Ran QA in staging — design, functionality, performance — to catch issues before launch.
  • Led Marketing & Events for Freshworks Women 360 for over a year, supporting DEI programming.

What I did at Freshworks

I created visuals for web pages, including product, company, solution, and SEO-focused pages. My work encompassed creating visuals from initial wireframes to delivering fully realized product videos, product screens and simplified UI, ensuring cohesive and engaging digital experiences.

Collaborated closely with the UX team to enhance our component library by adding new elements and variations to meet our evolving website needs.

Revamped the entire job search experience from our website to SmartRecruiters by introducing various job category filters and infusing a more engaging, dynamic design.

The redesign maintained a bold use of our brand colors, balancing fun with professionalism and representing our global team.

StackHawk

Bringing dynamic security to life.

Dynamic API Security

The challenge

Shape and evolve StackHawk's visual identity across everything from website to swag to virtual conference stages. Serve a highly technical audience without making the brand feel sterile — keep it warm, sharp, and memorable.

What I did

  • Designed across marketing touch points: web pages, digital ads, email, sales collateral, booth design, and swag.
  • Grew and enforced brand guidelines across platforms Discourse, Hopin, Zoom, and more.
  • Led website design projects end-to-end, from strategy to publishing, working in a sprint system with marketing and dev.
  • Oversaw interns and onboarded new design team members.

The outcome

A more consistent, distinctive brand expression at every touchpoint — one that felt credible to developers while standing out in a crowded security market. Tighter collaboration between design and marketing, and a brand foundation the team could keep building on.

Next Project
Wink Digital

Multi-brand agency years.

Introduction

Two years at Wink Digital — a Portland creative agency — designing websites, brands, and digital experiences for companies of every size. From restaurant owners to surgical departments to wedding planners, every project honored the client's legacy and voice.

What I did

During my time at Wink Digital, I helped multiple companies — small and big, from restaurant owners to surgical departments to wedding planners — build websites that represented them and their voice. Moving from ideas to finished work quickly and effectively, while honoring each client's legacy.

We supported brands to be more recognizable, to carve out a place in their market, to gain trust from customers, and to stand out. Responsive wireframes, user research, customer journey mapping, style guidelines, visual content, photoshoots, video shoots — the full agency spectrum.

Creating art without
a computer.

Introduction

Outside of pixels and screens, I explore creativity through traditional mediums. These paintings represent my journey with oils, acrylics, and mixed media, a practice that keeps my hands moving and my perspective fresh. Art without a computer reminds me that design is ultimately about expression, not tools.

Why this matters

Design used to stop at the hand-off. Now, with LLMs, I can take an idea from sketch to working prototype in an afternoon. That means tighter feedback loops, less back-and-forth with engineering on exploratory work, and more room to prove out ideas before asking anyone to commit to them.

It's also just fun. There's something magical about typing an idea and watching it come to life.
